Emily Byun, PhD Student

I am a PhD student in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University. I am fortunate to be co-advised by Prof. Zachary Lipton and Prof. Bryan Wilder. I am broadly interested in robustness to distribution shifts, with applications to healthcare. Previously, I graduated from Brown University, with a double major in physics and computer science. In the past, I served as a research intern at NASA JPL.
